Fair Grounds Race Course is Hiring a Revenue Audit Clerk Near Orleans, LA
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily audit of casino revenue envelopes for all gaming areas.
- Review source documents for compliance with minimum internal control standards and company policies.
- Prepare daily operating statements.
- Verify and record revenue for gaming and non-gaming areas.
- Prepare discrepancy reports for all audit exceptions noted.
- Investigate unusual occurrences with appropriate management.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Conduct self always in a manner that reflects credit on property and encourages others to do the same.

Personal Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) and Licenses; or
- Equivalent experience; or

- Louisiana Racing Commission License
- Casino Permit
